About Me
Losing my parents while I was still a dependent gave me a unique perspective on life, learning to survive, thrive, and love without the benefit of their wisdom. At first, I leaned on friends and neighbors. Self-help aisles in bookstores gave me comfort that I wasn't alone in my unrest. Many times authors provided tools needed for coping. After traveling the world in search of something I couldn't define, writing helped me release the grief that I had suppressed since I was young. Eventually, I found peace. My hope is that my life experiences will find their way into the heart of anyone browsing that aisle right now.
My memoir, BOOTSTRAP: A Montana Orphan's Rise in Silicon Valley, is due out winter of 2026.
My husband and I and our two rescue pups, Nala and Leo, split our time between the Sierra Foothills and the Monterey Peninsula.
